Applications are reviewed individually. Sending an application does not create a partnership; participation starts only after written acceptance and an approved link.

What FocusReader does
FocusReader is a Chrome extension that opens supported article pages in a calm reader, saves the exact selected passage with the page title and URL, and exports clean Markdown. Saved quotes stay in Chrome local storage.
It is not an AI tool, citation manager, PDF annotator, content inbox, or direct Obsidian integration. Partners must preserve those boundaries in any placement.
How attribution and payment work
- Test FocusReader on real article pages and decide independently whether it fits your audience.
- After written acceptance, receive one approved source label and placement link.
- Persistent attribution lasts 30 days only when the visitor explicitly chooses to remember the partner; otherwise it remains in the current browser session.
- A paid checkout becomes commission-eligible after the 14-day refund period if it is not refunded, disputed, charged back, self-referred, or reversed.
- Receive a monthly partner-source statement without buyer email addresses or license keys. The minimum payout is $10; smaller balances roll forward.
If the public product price changes, the fixed-dollar examples above must be agreed again before another placement.
Who is a strong fit
- YouTube creators and newsletters covering research, PKM, Obsidian, writing, reading, or Chrome productivity.
- Educators who teach source-aware reading or Markdown-based workflows.
- Independent publishers willing to test the real product before recommending it.
Audience size alone does not determine acceptance. A small, concentrated audience with a real workflow fit is more useful than broad reach without context.
Partner rules
- Disclose the affiliate relationship clearly beside the recommendation.
- Do not promise guaranteed outcomes, invent reviews or social proof, or describe unsupported AI or direct-sync features.
- Do not use spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, cookie stuffing, incentivized installs, impersonation, or trademark-bid ads.
- Do not publish an unapproved tracking label or expose buyer personal data.
